Description:
- Medal Souvenir Centenary of gardening.
- Obverse: A woman seated with two children is depicted. In the background is a small town. J.C. Chaplain
- Reverse: Belle Jardiniere Paris. Souvenir du Centenaire 1930. H. Dubois
- It is signed on both sides, one by the French medallist ‘Jules Clément Chaplain’, the other by the medal engraver ‘Ernest Henri Dubois’.
- Jules Clément Chaplain (1839-1909), French sculptor and one of the greatest medalists. Member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, he received several awards as a medallist and was appointed official medallist of the French government.
- Ernest Henri Dubois (1863-1930), French sculptor and medal engraver, produced a wide range of medals during his lifetime.
- It has a great movement, made with great detail, and very careful proportions with a spectacular result, highlighting the harmony that transmits its contemplation.
- On the edge it has the inscription: Bronze.
- The fact that an object has a distinctive mark or contrast is a very rare detail and of great importance for the interest of the piece.

Conservation and Damage:
- The medal is complete and in good condition.
- It can be seen how the metal has worn away, and the brass appears at the ends.
