- It is signed: Francisco Peiró Hurtado (1912-2002), born in Monóvar, Alicante. He specialised in still lifes and genre still lifes, but did not disdain portraits, compositions of figures and landscapes with an impressionist style. A graduate in law, he was self-taught, and it was at the end of his career that he devoted himself solely and exclusively to painting.
