Rectangular carpet, with Bokhara design. Its name is due to the city of Bokhara in Uzbekistan, which was a place of concentration of the carpet trade. This design is based on carpets made by the Turkomans, who are a people who settle in Central Asia, between Turkmenistan, Afghanistan and Persia. Where they are currently being made is in Pakistan, which is a town of knots, wool colored with natural dyes and knotted by hand. This type of rugs follow patterns inspired by the oldest traditions of oriental design and manufacture, obtaining a result of great resistance and durability.
The field is maroon. The central zone has six small medallions. In the corners does not have any auction to highlight them. The border is of great importance.
