Description of the Content:
- The book, written in Spanish and Portuguese, is conceived as a work and consultation tool, both for professionals or students of architecture, and for anyone else interested in the subject of architecture and construction. The content is very well structured and of great interest.
- The author Josep Lluís Sert i López, a Spanish architect, was interested in the work of Antonio Gaudí and his uncle, the painter Josep María Sert, from a very young age. He was a professor at Yale University and carried out several urban development projects in America. He received the gold medal of merit in the Fine Arts.
- The book is richly illustrated, both with drawings and photographs.

Description of the book:
- Sewn binding of good execution, with guillotine cuts, untreated, from the second half of the 20th century.
- The text and illustrations are printed in black, in good ink, with good printing, well centred and with good margins.
- Book printed on lightly fluted paper, of medium thickness and good quality.
- Soft cardboard covers and spine, with full dark green editorial cloth, good quality.
- The cover is printed with the author"s name, the name of the book and one of the buildings designed by the author (Josep Ll. Sert - Paperback Studio). It does not have a jacket.
- Spine printing: Name and surname of the author.
- The back cover is stamped with a small description of the book.
Conservation and damage:
- General condition: Good.
- Sewn binding in good condition.
- The pages of the Text are in good condition, not having breaks or stains.
- The cover has a small stain on the bottom caused by a small piece of leaf that has left a rust mark.
- In the front cut, it has a small stain of some liquid substance
- It has small spots, some discoloured parts with scratches and folds.
- The book has not suffered any external aggressions such as humidity, insect or rodent attacks, etc.
- The covers and cuts are well preserved and with little dirt.
- The book shows the wear and tear of its time.
Comments:
- Both the Measures and the Weight are approximate.
- To make the photos of the Interior Pages, these have been fixed with clamps.
- Because it is inevitable the differences of tonalities between photos and reality, you must have in mind that the tones of the colours of the photos are not exactly equal to the tones of the real colours.
