- José Gálvez Roch (1905-1991) Spanish painter, born in Jacarilla, Alicante. Painter and shepherd in his native land, he cultivated the typical genres of the time such as genre compositions, portraits, landscapes and still lifes. He took part in the 1st Biennial Art Exhibition in Madrid, in the National Exhibition of Fine Arts and exhibited at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid.
