- Medal issued in the year 1909, on the occasion of the Valencia Regional Exhibition.
- The motives of the Medal were made by the Valencian sculptor Mariano Benlliure and Gil, although it is not signed.
- On the front there is a profile bust of a Valencian woman, dressed with a comb and jewels. Background with plant motives. On the left border the legend "Regional Valencian Exhibition 1909" is developed.
- In the Reverso there are two men standing, naked with an almost whole body, holding up the Coat of Arms of the City of Valencia, and framing in the background the Entrance Gate to the exhibition site. The one on the left holds a Mace, as a symbol of Effort and Work. The one on the right holds a Caduceus, as a symbol of Trade and Economy. In the background plant motifs extend.
- The Medal does not have any Distinctive, Mark or Signature of the artist, foundry or material used.
- Keep the original box, very hard to get.
Comments:
- Both the Measures, and the Weight, are approximate.
- Although it is a medal that can be found, they are usually in regular condition, and without the original box.
- Very interesting as a collection and decorative piece.
- Spectacular in an illuminated niche, with minimalist decoration.
- Due to the fact that it is inevitable the differences of tones between photos and reality, it should be kept in mind that the tones of the colors of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors.
- The Object present the wear and tear of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws.
