Description:
- Medal Made of silver-plated brass, with the Virgin of Hontanares on the obverse, and with the Hermitage of Hontanares on the reverse.
- The high relief of the medal has a good quality. The significant wear of the silver plating, caused by its use, together with the good quality of the high relief, has given us a beautiful patina.
- The Medal has a flat handle and a ring. The cord is the original, which is sewn to the ring of the Medal, and was the official used by the Brotherhood to which the Medal belonged.
- The Medal with the ring measures 5.2 cm high and if we measure the stretched cord with the Medal, the total length would be 41 cm.
- On the perimeter of the obverse it has the legend COFRADÍA DE Nª Sª DE HONTANARES - RIAZA.
- We have not found any Contrast or Badge on the Medal.
Comments:
- Both the Measurements and the Weight are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector"s item. It is difficult to find in this state.
- Because differences in shades between photos and reality are inevitable, it must be kept in mind that the tones of the colors of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colors.
- The Object presents the wear typical of its time, as well as some stains. It has small flaws.
