- The book, written in Spanish, is taken from the prince"s edition of the "Libro tercer de la Chrónica de la ínclita y coronada ciudad de Valencia y de su reino", compiled by Martín de Viciana.
- The book provides a geographical, monumental and historical description of the city of Alicante, where the privileges and laws are outlined, and it foresees its mercantile and economic future.
- The author, Vicente Martínez Morellá, Official Chronicler of the City of Alicante, Corresponding Academic of the History and Fine Arts of San Carlos. He published various historical works on Alicante.
- The book reproduces an engraving of the castle of Santa Bárbara.

- The text and the sheet are printed in black, very well in ink, with good printing, well centred and with good margins.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Very good.
- Stapled binding in a very good state.
- The pages of the text are in very good condition, not having breaks or stains.
- The book has not suffered external aggressions such as humidity, insect or rodent attacks, etc.
- The Book has, at the bottom of the Covers, a slight fold.
- The covers and cuts are well preserved and without dirt.

Comments:
- Both the Measures and the Weight are approximate.
- To make the photos of the Inner Pages, these have been fixed with clamps.
- Ideal book as a collector- Because it is inevitable the differences of tonalities between photos and reality, you must have in mind that the tones of the colours of the photos are not exactly equal to the tones of the real colours.
