Description:
Precious box of incomplete measures. Neither the box nor the instruments have any type of registration that identifies the manufacturer. The box is incomplete, in the absence of the ink mustache and the head of the compass and the mustache, an element that is missing in many boxes of measures.
In our opinion, the compass is stored in the box without any complement, which gives the feeling at first sight that the compass is incomplete.
Although it seems strange, if you look carefully at the place where the compass fits, you can see that it is prepared laterally to house the coupling head of the accessories. This prevents it from being able to fit with any type of adapted complement.
Probably from the beginning of the first half of the nineteenth century, although it could be framed at the end of the second half of the eighteenth century, since the characteristics of the instruments were maintained for a long time, due to the high cost of its design and manufacture.
It contains a compass with its ink and pencil complements. A tiralíneas with bone brace. A pencil mustache and a capsule for points and mines. The instruments are of high quality. Steel has rust in some parts. It would be interesting to do a cleaning.
The box is in very good condition, due to its limited use. It has a plate on the outside of its lid, so that, by means of an inscription in it, it can be customized.
