- Nutcracker and pair of Punches, presented in a vintage box.
- The Nutcracker is reversible, made of turned, forged and chiseled iron, plated with a thick layer of silver, also chiseled.
- The head of the Nutcracker has two punches with different marks or contrasts, which probably correspond to the place where it was made, the manufacturer's data, and the date of its manufacture. The first is a monogram with the letter "A", the second is another monogram with the letters "WH".
- The two punches are totally different from each other. They appear to be made of brass plated with a layer of silver.
- The silver bath of the nutcracker is probably made by electroplating, with a layer of important thickness, which facilitates the detailed chiseling that they present, with a spectacular result.
- We think that the workmanship could be English, from the Georgian period, between 1714 and 1830.
- The well-known English brand Walker & Hall, of Sheffield, began its journey in 1845 making several types of Nutcrackers, with similar characteristics to ours, but using a much more industrialized manufacturing system.
- In this type of pieces, it is very rare to find any distinctive, mark or contrast, so as in our case we do have them, this makes the Nutcracker a very peculiar piece.

Conservation and Damage:
- The Nutcracker and the Punches, are in very good condition.
- They have been thoroughly cleaned and the rust has been removed. Both the two arms of the Nutcracker, as well as the two Punches, are perfectly straight, not having suffered any curvature, due to its little use.
- The box is in a quite good condition. The lid keeps inside, the original fabric padding, although with some rust stains. In its base, it also keeps in a very good state of preservation the velvet, where the Nutcracker and the Punches fit.
- The box opens and closes perfectly. It is made of wood lined with black imitation leather, with a golden band around the lid.

Comments:
- Both the measurements, as well as the weight, are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.
- The shades of the colors in the photos are not the same as the shades of the real colors.
