Description:

- It is signed on both sides, one by the French medallist ‘Jules Clément Chaplain’, the other by the medal engraver ‘Ernest Henri Dubois’.
- Jules Clément Chaplain (1839-1909), French sculptor and one of the greatest medalists. Member of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, he received several awards as a medallist and was appointed official medallist of the French government.
- Ernest Henri Dubois (1863-1930), French sculptor and medal engraver, produced a wide range of medals during his lifetime.
- It has a great movement, made with great detail, and very careful proportions with a spectacular result, highlighting the harmony that transmits its contemplation.
