Description:
- Colour plate of a Moroccan governor visiting his tribe in 1837.
- The print shows the Kaïd, accepting the hospitality of the shepherds. It is known as a milk offering, an Arab chief between his tribe and the high one or the Kaïd.
- The plate is glued only at the top to a piece of cardboard, which has a beautiful yellow border surrounding the plate.
- Underneath the plate, on the cardboard, is a text written in German. And in the lower area is the description of the plate, and the place where the original painting is probably located, which is in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nantes.
- The printing is good. Colour.
