ALICANTINE CHARACTER FROM THE 18TH CENTURY. 1840

Description:
- Engraving of an 18th century figure from Alicante.
- The figure in the engraving is dressed in the costumes of the period. In this case from the geographical area of Levante, Alicante in particular.
- The engraving has a very small size, it is cut out and glued to a sheet of good thickness. This sheet has been glued to a larger passe-partout.
- This is an intaglio, a strong water-based printing process on copper.
- No markings or signatures have been found that could provide details of the engraver, the artist or other information.

Conservation and Damage:
- Good general condition.
- The engraving is on thin paper of fair quality.
- The paper is somewhat dirty, with small rust stains.
