Description:
- Incomplete plumb bob for the construction of the first half of the 20th century, with a yellow bronze weight, 10.6 cm. high and 6.4 cm. in diameter, without a nut.
- The Weight has a spherical shape, is made by turning and has a threaded head.
- The body of the Weight is hollow and filled with lead. It has a ring at the equator of the sphere, which gives it great aesthetic appeal.
- A beautiful patina is preserved throughout the Plumb bob. The quality of the bronze casting, and of the execution of the Plumb bob, is very good.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found which could provide information about the place of manufacture, the manufacturer and other information.
- The Plumb bob is probably made in the centre of Europe and probably in the UK.

Conservation and damage:
- The Plumb bob is in good condition, having many, but very small knocks and rubs.
- The cast iron of the Plumb bob has no imperfections.
- The Plumb bob has the wear and tear of its time.

Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.
- It could have been used as an instrumental plumb bob, due to its characteristics.
- Very interesting as a collector- Because it is inevitable the differences of tonalities between photos and reality, you must have in mind that the tones of the colours in the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colours.
