Description:
- Instrumental plumb bob from the first half of the 20th century, with a solid bronze weight, iron tip and conserving the nut.
- The body of the weight is in the shape of an irregular cylinder, 8,6 cm. high and 2,2 cm. in diameter, with a threaded head.
- The thread is of medium size and diameter, with a small thread and pitch.
- The nut is original from the plumb bob, made of iron, it is preserved intact and in very good condition.
- It has a peculiarity, and that is that the patina on the head has changed. It has a much more golden colour than the rest of the plumb bob, which makes it rarer.
- It is a decorative plumb bob, given its aesthetics.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information about the place where it was made, the maker"s details, or any other information.
- The plumb bob was probably made in southern Europe.
Preservation and damage:
- The plumb bob is in a good state of preservation, although the weight has many, but very minor knocks and scratches.
- The casting of the weight has no imperfections.
- There is a very good and beautiful patina all over the plumb bob.
- The Plumb bob shows the wear and tear of it"s age.

Comments:
- Both the Measurements and the Weight are approximate.

- The object for sale is the one that corresponds to the photos. The description is not a detailed exposition of the object.
