Description:
- Colour print The young blue boy
- This is an oil painting by Thomas Gainsborough. It is believed to be a portrait of Jonathan Bitall, the son of a wealthy merchant. It is both a portrait and a historical study of 18th-century youth costume, and is said to be a tribute by the artist to Anthony Van Dyck.
- The plate is glued only at the top to a piece of cardboard, which has a nice light brown line running around the plate.
- The plate is raised, but there is no writing on it. In the lower area is the description of the plate, and the location of the original painting, which is in the Huntington Gallery, San Marino.
- The print is good. Colour.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition Good.
- The edges are in good condition.
- Shows wear and tear typical of it's age.
