Description:
- Large Chinese cloisonné enamel dish, with a brass rim.
- Cloisonné or honeycomb enamelling is an ancient technique for the decoration of metal objects, using glazed enamel, and in ancient periods also using inlaid precious stones, glass and other materials.
- A large, round dish from the first half of the 20th century.
- Enamelled blue on the back with gilt floral details, and with cloisonné enamel on the top, decorated with floral details and butterflies in various colours.
- The plate is bordered with a row of brass, as is the base. It has no contrast or stamp.

Conservation and Damage:
- The dish is in a perfect state of preservation.
- The cloisonné is of high quality and is very well made.
- It has small knocks and scratches due to age.
- The object shows the wear and tear of it’s age.
