Book Description:
- Sewn binding of good execution, with guillotined cuts, from the First Half of the 19th Century.
- Text in single colour black print, and illustrations in black and white, very good ink, with good stamping, well centred and with good margins.
- Book printed on thick paper of very good quality. The plates are of good thickness, while the description of each plate is of medium thickness.
- Hard covers, of very good quality. It is dogtooth stitched.
- The binding is later. It has a deluxe binding, all leather, with gilt irons on the spine and bordering the book. With a box made specifically for the two volumes, a beauty.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Very good.
- Sewn binding in good condition.
- The pages of the text are in good condition, with no tears or large stains.
- There are small rust stains on some of the pages, but they do not affect the engravings or the text.
- The second volume is incomplete, lacking the title page, the table of plates and the text for the first six plates of the book.
- The book has not suffered from external aggressions such as humidity, insect attacks, rodents, etc.
- The book shows wear and tear typical of it’s age.
