Description:
- Nice globe from the 50's approximately.
- Mounted on a base that supports an axis with an angle of inclination of 23,5 degrees with respect to the horizontal plane, that is made to pass from pole to pole, allowing the rotation of the sphere around this axis. It has a measurement for latitudes.
- Small in size, the base is black, while the rest of the globe is blue, with the respective colours of each country. Mostly made of tinplate.
- On the bottom is an inscription: The Chad Valley. Co Ltd. We think this is the name of the manufacturer, made in England. By appointment toymakers to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mother. Numbered No. 10175.
Conservation and Damage:
- The globe is in good condition, but with a lot of wear.
- It is stained and has heavy wear on the blue parts. The base also has wear.
