LARGE DOUBLE TAPE MEASURE. INITIALS MG. 18TH CENTURY

Description:
- Beautiful big size measuring tape, made of iron and bronze.
- The tape is 20 metres long and is marked with small and beautiful bronze plates numbered every metre. In addition, it is also separated by small bronze buttons every 20 cm.
- The ribbon has a nice bronze handle at each end.
- In the upper area there is a chain to make it easier to grasp.
- We date the ribbon to around the end of the 18th century.
- It is a very rare and hard to find piece.

Conservation and Damage:
- The ribbon is in a perfect state of preservation.
- It maintains a spectacular period patina.
- It has small knocks and scratches due to time.
- The object shows the wear and tear of it's age.
