- The centrepiece has a large size, and is composed of three parts. Each of the three parts can be unscrewed to separate them.
- Throughout the centrepiece various mythological scenes are depicted, both on the top and on the base.
- The scene at the top may depict Alexander the Great at the temple of Amun at Siwa, where he was proclaimed son of Zeus-Amun, and is called: Alexander the Great consulting the oracle of Amun.
