Description:
- Photogravure plate from the early 20th century.
- Photoengraving is the production of relief prints by transferring photographic images onto a plate for printing in such a way that light or dark areas become susceptible to engraving. It is normally applied to metal, but can also be used on glass, plastic or other materials.
- The plate is worked with the highest quality, and on the basis of a drawing made with great skill. This has made it possible to obtain a unique piece.
- It is fairly well preserved, having been used on only a few occasions.
- It is a parish leaf, written partly in Valencian and partly in Latin.
- In the upper part there is an image with a reliquary and two angels guarding it, while in the lower part there are two texts, the first written in Valencian and the second in Latin.
- No distinctive mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on the place where it was made, the maker's details or any other information.
