NETSUKE BALL, MADE OF STONE. CARVED. WITH SEAL.

Description:
- Precious and rare Netsuke, ball shaped and made of stone.
- Completely carved, it has two seals, one on each side and some kind of animal surrounding the netsuke.
- A hole goes through the ball. The hole is made to be able to hang it, very typical in netsukes.
- The artistic quality is very high, executed in a very personal style and with great fluency, achieving harmonic and very expressive effects in the proportions.
- It has a simple and very elegant design. Hand carved and made in one piece.
- We have only found the two stamps on each side that we have not been able to identify.

Conservation and Damage:
- The netsuke is in perfect state of preservation.
- It has small bumps and scratches due to it's use.
- It presents the wear typical of it's time.
