Description:
- ONE PESETA coin, circular in shape, from the era of Juan Carlos I, designed in 1975 and minted by the National Mint and Stamp Factory in 1980.
- Obverse: Bas-relief of the bust of King Juan Carlos I. The inner perimeter bears the legend 'JUAN CARLOS I KING OF SPAIN' '1975'. On its outer perimeter, it has a border of hemispherical dots.
- Reverse: Bas-relief of the Coat of Arms of Spain, with the Eagle of Saint John, and the yoke and arrows at its base. On its sides, there are two columns with a band bearing the legend 'PLUS ULTRA.' On the eagle's head, there is a band with the legend 'UNA GRANDE LIBRE.' On its inner perimeter, it has the legend 'UNA PESETA' and two 'STARS' with the year of minting inside: '19' or '80.' On its outer perimeter, it has a border of hemispherical dots.
- Edge: Fluted without any inscription.
