- Used 4 Cuartos postage stamp from Spain, dated 1856. Dark pink.
- On the front, inside a dark pink circle surrounded by a garland of small white circles, there is a bust of Queen Isabella II facing right in white. At the top, ‘CORREOS’ in white. At the bottom, ‘4 CUARTOS’ in white.
- Circular postmark not legible.
- The postmark is visible on the reverse.
- Vertical: No perforations. No holes.
- Horizontal: No perforations. No holes.
- Printed on thin, good quality paper, very light greyish white, in a single dark pink colour, very good ink, good printing and acceptable centring.
- No distinctive features, marks or contrasts have been found that could provide further information about this postage stamp.

Conservation and Damage:

- The stamp has been recently washed, so it does not retain its gum.
