Description:
- Bavaria coffee or tea set.
- The Bavarian area, due to its location and special characteristics, gave rise to some of the finest porcelain ever made, combining traditional German craftsmanship with the magnificent qualities of the raw materials used.
- Set of six plates and cups, teapot/coffee pot, milk jug and sugar bowl.
- The whole set is finely silver-plated, forming a beautiful floral design which is complemented by coloured floral decorations. On the three large pieces, two cupids with their bow can be seen.
- The pieces have a medium thickness, with a light sound to the touch, made of white Porcelain.
- Each of the pieces, just below the Bavarian seal, is numbered. Some of the numbers are repeated.
- Conservation and damage:
- It is in very good condition. The porcelain is undamaged, with no knocks or cracks, no hairs, and retains it's vivid colours, especially the silver.
- The Object shows wear typical of it's age.
