Description of the book:
- Sewn binding of good execution, with guillotined cuts, from the second half of the 19th century.
- Text in single-colour black printing, very good ink, with good stamping, well centred and with good margins.
- Book printed on tan paper, of medium thickness and good quality.
- Hard covers, full dark green publisher's cloth and dark green leather spine, good quality.
- The title page has a Filigree Symbol in the centre of the page, with the letters: 'Inter Folia Frvctvs'. No dust jacket.
- Gilt stamping on spine: Malas Costumbres. D.S.
- Smooth spine of full dark green leather, marked with five stamped and gilt borders.
- Smooth, grey-green paper endpapers.
Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- Sewn binding with fatigued covers, with rubbing and creases.
- Cuts well preserved and with minimal soiling.
- Text pages are in good condition, with no tears. Some of them with small spots of soiling. Pages are slightly darkened at edges due to age.
- The tips are slightly deteriorated with light creases and folds.
- The book has not suffered from external aggressions such as humidity, insect attacks, rodents, etc.
- The flyleaves are in good condition, with small spots of dirt.
- The book shows wear and tear typical of it's age.
Comments:
- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.
- In order to take the photos of the inside pages, they have been clamped with tweezers.
- Due to the unavoidable differences in tonalities between photos and reality, it must be taken into account that the tones of the colours in the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colours.
