Beautiful book 'Le Moulin Du Frau, by Eugène Le Roy'. Bois de L.J Soulas. Spectacular edition, from the year 1927. Written in French. It maintains in the same bookbinding, the original tapas and the back of the time, something rare and uncommon. On the page after the page, the numbering of the book appears. This is the South Rives Hors Commerce issue, No. LVII (57). Printed by Monsieur Numa. The explanation of numbering of books appears on page 475. This particular one is among the 80 copies of Hors Commerce, within the 65 in rives. We deduce that it is a rather rare specimen.
Binding made by Trinckvel, with its own stamp, on the upper left edge of the first page. Binding stitched in vintage Dutch, with leather corner. Author, title and date, golden on the back, with four nerves. It has numerous illustrations of good quality, divided between illustrations outside text, inserted in the text and at the head of each chapter, at the end of each chapter and in capitular letters. It also has some engraving.
Guards with water paper, two sheets of respect, original cover, cover page, legal page, engraving, cover, preface, contents, legal page of the book numbering, two sheets of respect, original back cover along with original loin, two leaves of respect, guards with paper of waters. Deburring and gilding the upper cut. Without deburring the rest. Good margins. Rods in the corners of the binding. Some rust stains inside.
