Description:
- Brass coasters, reproducing the obverse of the 1 Ecu silver coin of the Kingdom of France, with the effigy of Louis XVI.
- On the Obverse it has the Effigy of Louis XVI and the Legend LUD. XVI. D. G. FR. ET. NAV. REX , which corresponds to Latin - Ludovicus XVI Deo Gratia France et Navarre Rex - and in Spanish - Louis XVI, King of France and Navarre by the Grace of God. Beneath the effigy is a 'Flower'.
- The Reverse is completely flat. It was likely that it had a glued felt cloth, which does not preserve.
- The Coaster is manufactured with high quality, and is very well preserved with minimal wear and tear, presenting a beautiful patina, product of its more than 40 or 50 years of life.
- No Badge or Manufacture Mark has been detected.
Comments:
- Both the Measures and the Weight are approximate.
- Very interesting as a collection piece and decorative element.
