Description:
- Thai bronze sculpture representing Buddha walking, with the gesture of the absence of fear, in a subtle personification between the masculine and the feminine.
- The sculpture is not solid, preserving the cast iron core and made in one piece. It has no badge or brand that can identify it. It preserves a wooden parallelepiped stand from the period.
- The artistic quality is very good, with a magnificent result, highlighting its proportions and the spectacular movement that conveys its contemplation.
- The sculpture has foundry defects, in spite of which it is made in quite detail and carefully finished.
- It retains remains of what could be an old gold bath, which has been lost almost entirely. This circumstance, together with the wear of the most exposed parts, provides an exceptionally beautiful patina.
