- In the lower margin it has the legend "Meubles du XIV Siecle - Furniture of the 14th century".
- In the upper right-hand corner is printed the number "414", which suggests that the engraving is number 414 of a series.
- In the lower right corner, outside the image, is the signature ,Lemaitre Direxit,, the engraver.
- Augustin François Lemaître: French engraver, lithographer, designer, publisher and photographer. He depicted many landscapes, monuments, architecture and people, especially during his many travels in Europe.
- In the lower left corner, outside the image, is the signature ,Gaucherel del,, the draughtsman.
- Léon Gaucherel (1816-1886). Painter and engraver, born in Paris. He engraved reproductions of ancient and contemporary paintings for various archaeological publications, but then etched reproductions of ancient and contemporary paintings.
- Chalcographic etching on steel plate, although a different technique could also have been used.
- Produced in a single-colour black tone, very well inked.
- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.
