- Engraving Lake Geneva. Lausanne.
- Lake Geneva, also known in English as Lake Geneva, is the largest lake in Western Europe. It is located north of the Alps, between France and Switzerland.
- All titles and signatures are outside the plate. The draughtsman is unknown.
- In the upper margin is the legend "Lac de Geneve - Lake Geneva - Genfersee".
- In the lower margin is the legend "Lausanne - Lausanne - Lausanne".
- The number "3" is printed in the upper right-hand corner, suggesting that the engraving is number 3 in a series.
- In the lower right corner, the Engraver signs only as Rouargue, so it is by one of the two Rouargue brothers. In our opinion, the author of the engraving plate is most probably Adolphe Rouargue (1810 - 1870).
- Chalcographic etching on steel plate, although another technique could also have been used.
- It is in single-colour black tone, very well inked.
- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.
