Description:
Preciosa Caja - Pillbox, with a metallic cameo in high relief of a woman Bacante, of great artistic quality. On the side of the box, there are engraved clusters of grapes. We think the box is made of a paste that resembles resins or a type of Bakelite. The cameo is an independent piece and attached to the lid. It must be made of a material that is close to a mixture of light metals. It is signed at the base of the box, T.P. Danbiere Paris. It is a manufacturer of the S.XIX that made several similar boxes for the Universal Exhibition of Paris of 1889. It is a rare piece, with an exceptional quality of execution. It presents the own attrition of its time, as well as some stains. It has small damages. The data provided here are unconfirmed personal opinions.
