CIVILIZATION ENGRAVING 11. ASSYRIAN AND PERSIAN ELEMENTS.

Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 11 of Civilization, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed in accordance with the Iconographic Encyclopedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- Different Assyrian elements appear in the engraving, including: royal headdresses, priestly necklace and scepter, cylinder with cuneiform inscriptions, muskets, decorative weapons, etc.
- In the upper margin it has the title “CIVILIZATION”, and in the upper right corner it has “Lam. 11” printed, which identifies it as Engraving number 11 in a series on civilizations.
- In the lower margin are the identifications of the different objects, both Assyrian and Persian.
- Intaglio etching on steel, although another different technique could also have been used.
- Made in monochrome black, very good ink, centered with acceptable margins and with good printing.
