COINS 50 FRANCO 1957 *58 - EXTREMELY FINE.

Description:
- Fifty peseta coin, circular in shape, from the era of the Spanish State presided over by Francisco Franco Bahamonde, designed in 1957 and minted by the National Mint and Stamp Factory in 1958.
- Obverse: Bas-relief bust of General Francisco Franco Bahamonde, designed by the sculptor Mariano Benlliure Gil. It is unsigned. The inner rim bears the inscription “FRANCISCO FRANCO, LEADER OF SPAIN BY THE GRACE OF GOD” and “1957”. The outer rim features a border of dots that approximate the shape of a teardrop.
- Reverse: Bas-relief of the Coat of Arms of Spain, with the Eagle of Saint John, and the yoke and arrows at its base. On either side are two columns with a band bearing the inscription “PLUS ULTRA”. Above the Eagle's head is a band with the inscription “UNA GRANDE LIBRE” (A Great Free One). Inside is the inscription “50 PTAS” and a star with the year of minting inside, “58”. The outer rim features a border of dots that approximate the shape of a teardrop.
- Also on the reverse, to the right of the eagle's head, a false strike can be seen, which has left a faint impression of the reverse of the upper part of the letters “RANC”. This can be clearly seen in the photo taken with raking light.
- Edge: Plain with the legend “UNA GRANDE LIBRE” (One Great Free Coin).
- This coin is made of a nickel alloy with a small amount of copper.
- No hallmarks, marks, or hallmarks have been found that could provide further information about this coin.

Conservation and Damage:
- Its condition is EF – Excellent Fine – slightly worn. It retains an attractive patina, despite having been cleaned.
- On both the obverse and reverse of the coin, the raised relief shows light wear and minor nicks and scratches.
- The plain edge with the legend shows nicks and wear.
