CONGREGATION CHRIST OF THE FORGIVENESS MEDAL.

Description:
- Plated brass oval medal, with flat handle and ring, all original. First Half XX Century.
- Plated brass medal, from the congregation of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness in Madrid.
- Front: Represents the crucified Christ from the parish of Santos, Justo y Pastor.
- Front: On its perimeter it has the legend 'Congregación del Stmo. Cristo del Perdón'.
- Back: Two laurel wreaths are represented, the crown of triumph, one inside the other.
- Back: On its perimeter it has the legend 'Parroquia de Stos. Justo and Pastor. Madrid'.
- The artistic quality of the medal is very high, with a good execution and a magnificent stamping, obtaining in the high reliefs some harmonic and expressive effects, which takes us to the participation of an outstanding artist in the execution of the Medal.
- We have not found any Contrast or Distinction in the Medal that provides us with the data of the identity of its authors.
- It maintains a beautiful patina, which appears when the brass is seen in most of the Medal, due to the wear and tear of the plated.
- The edge of the Medal is smooth, without any inscription.

Conservation and damages:
- The Medal is in a very good state of conservation, keeping in mind the manifest observations.
- Silver bath very worn, leaving the brass in the most exposed parts of the Medal.
- Both the obverse and the reverse of the Medal are in a perfect state of conservation, observing the aforementioned wear and tear.
- Very good state of conservation, without significant blows except for one, a small indent in the left superior edge.
- The edges of the edge do not present any blows.

Comments:
- It is a very rare medal to find.

- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.

- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.

- The Object on sale is the one that corresponds with the photos, that in turn are complemented in this Description, with the objective to provide a better knowledge of the Object, and never to be a detailed exhibition of the same one.

- Because it is inevitable the differences of tones between photos and reality, it must be kept in mind that the tones of the colors of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the real colors.
