DANCER WITH RING. ORMOLU. ART DECO SCULPTURE.

Description:
Magnificent sculpture in bronze, representing a naked young dancer, standing with a hoop, showing her full body, having her hair tied back with a bun. The sculpture is located at the beginning of the First Half of the twentieth century, although it could be earlier, since his style is very close to modernism. We have not found any type of signature of the author, no inscription of the foundry, or any other brand that can identify it. It is solid, and in addition to a single piece with the exception of the hoop, so, due to its structure, it is most likely made using a single-use mold, because, due to the shapes of the sculpture, these forces to break the mold to unmold. It is located on a gray marble circular base, which has a base made of brass sheet.
The artistic quality of the sculpture is very high, highlighting its proportions and the spectacular movement that conveys its contemplation. The quality of the casting, its completion and the finishes are magnificent, with no superficial damage, and keeping the gold in very good condition. All those characteristics that the sculpture has, provide a very interesting patina as a whole, with a very attractive and high quality appearance. We have not located another sculpture like this, so we think that there would be few units. Very interesting as a collector's item and decorative element. Spectacular in an illuminated niche.
Comments: Due to the fact that the differences in tonalities between photos and reality are inevitable, we must bear in mind that the color tones of the photos are not exactly the same as the tones of the actual colors.
