Description:
- Dufex Disney print of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. With paspastu and framed.
- Dufex printing was a process developed by F.J. Warren in the early 20th century, and involves printing images on paper or cardboard lined with aluminium foil, using UV-formulated transparent inks, which allow the reflective sheen to be retained. Etching techniques are then used to add a series of reflective textures to the print.
- The print is freshly framed. The passe-partout is blue in colour, so the frame has been made to match.
- Disney original, probably from the 90s. At the bottom centre is the Disney copyright.
- The printing is good. Colour.
Conservation and Damage:
- General Condition Good.
- It has two small rubs on the skirt of Esmeralda, where the coloured paper has been lifted.
