- The upper part shows a general view of Alicante, taken from the breakwater.
- In the lower part, there are three people from Alicante dressed in the typical costumes of the period.
- The engraving belongs to the book: Diccionario Geográfico de España. Year 1881.

- The ink is very good and the print is well stamped.
- The engraving is on medium-thickness paper of good quality.
- The engraving has no damp stains, it only has small rust stains on one side, without affecting the drawing.
- If it were lightly washed and bleached, the result would be very good.
- It presents the wear of it's time.
