Description:
- Engraving Catacombs of Rome.
- All the titles and signatures are outside the plate.
- In the upper margin it has the legend 'Rom - Roma - Rome'.
- In the lower margin it has the legend 'Catacomben - Catacombes - Catacombs'.
- In the upper right-hand corner is printed the number '9', which suggests that the engraving is number 9 in a series.
- Augustin François Lemaître: French engraver, lithographer, designer, publisher and photographer. He depicted many landscapes, monuments, architecture and people, especially during his many travels in Europe.
- Intaglio etching on steel plate, although another technique could also have been used.
- Produced in a single-colour black tone, very well inked.
- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- It is very well inked, and has a good stamping.
- The lateral, upper and lower margins are wide.
- The engraving is on thin, regular quality paper, glued at the corners to another paper.
- The engraving has small rust spots.
- If it were lightly washed and bleached, the result would be very good.
