Description:
- Chromolithograph engraving of the Province of Alicante.
- Chromolithography is a method of lithography (stone engraving) by which drawings are printed in colour.
- It belongs to the historical geographical atlas of the provinces of Spain.
- The engraving contains two descriptions, one geographical and the other historical. In the upper part there are several characters, among them two people from Alicante dressed in the regional costumes of the time.
- Dedicated to Mr. Emilio Castelar. Just below appears the map of the province of Alicante, next to an image of the beautiful castle of Santa Barbara located in the city of Alicante.
- Made in colours, very good ink, centred with acceptable margins and with a good stamping.
