ENGRAVING CIVILIZATION PLATE 30 GRAS AND Cª SUITS S.XIII - XIV. FEDERICO I.

Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 30 of Civilisation, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed according to the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- The engraving depicts various figures of the monarchy, but the main theme is the costumes, with different themes and centred on the 13th-14th century.
- In the upper margin is the title 'CIVILISATION', and in the upper right-hand corner is printed 'Lam. 30', which identifies it as engraving number 30 in a series on civilisations.
- In the lower margin are the identifications of the different characters and costumes, such as: Henry the Holy Emperor, Berengaria Queen of England, costumes of ladies of the court, Charles the Reckless, etc.
- Chalcographic etching on steel, although another technique could also have been used.

- If a cleaning is applied to it, the result could be very acceptable.
