ENGRAVING. LANDINGS OF WORKERS, FUGITIVES AND REPATRIATES.

Description:
- Woodcut, wood engraving from Alicante.
- Disembarkation of Spanish workers, fugitives from Oran, and repatriated by the steamers 'Besos' and 'Correo de Cartagena'. (From photographs sent by D.A. Marcili Oliver).
- The engraving, made in black and white and colored, is glued to a cardboard, and you can see how there is text on the back, that is, it is a sheet from the famous magazine La Illustration Española y Americana.
- The Spanish and American Illustration. It was a magazine published in Madrid between 1869 and 1921. The magazine appeared weekly, and followed the model of prestigious European publications.
- In the lower right corner the name 'Rico' appears.
