ENGRAVING M. RODOLFO. THE MYSTERIES OF PARIS.

Description:
- Engraving by M. Rodolfo, from Volume I of the books ‘The Mysteries of Paris’, by Eugenio Sué.
- All the titles and signatures are outside the plate.
- In the upper margin it has the legend ‘TomoI Pág. 1...’. Illegible.
- In the lower margin it has the legend ‘M. Rodolfo’.
- Chalcographic etching on steel plate, although another technique could also have been used.
- Produced in single-colour black tone, very well inked.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- The ink is very good and the print is well stamped.
- The engraving is on medium-thickness paper of fair quality.
- The engraving has suffered from humidity, so the paper has small humidity stains and rust spots.
- If a light washing and bleaching were applied to it, the result would be very good.

Comments:
- Measurements are approximate.
- The tones of the colours in the photos are not the same as the tones of the real colours.
