Description:
- Engraving of the Rjukanfos Waterfall. Norway.
- All titles and signatures are outside the plate.
- In the upper margin it has the legend ‘Norway - Norwege’.
- In the lower margin is the legend ‘Chute de Rjukanfos dans la province de Tellemarken - Rjukanfos Waterfall’.
- The number ‘10’ is printed in the upper right-hand corner, suggesting that the engraving is number 10 in a series.
- Augustin François Lemaître: French engraver, lithographer, designer, publisher and photographer. He depicted many landscapes, monuments, architecture and people, especially during his many travels in Europe.
- Intaglio etching on steel plate, although a different technique could also have been used.
- Produced in a single-colour black tone, very well inked.
- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.

Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- It is very well inked, and has a good stamping.
- The engraving is on medium-thick paper of average thickness and regular quality.
- The engraving has suffered from humidity, so the paper has humidity stains and rust spots, mainly in the central part.
- The engraving is dirty, and the edges are even dirtier, with very small tears, and the tips are slightly deteriorated with slight bends.
- If a light washing and bleaching were applied, the result would be very good.
