- Intaglio etching on steel plate, although another technique could also have been used.
- Produced in a single-colour black tone, very well inked.
- It is probably an engraving belonging to a book.
Conservation and Damage:
- General condition: Good.
- It is very well inked, and has a good stamping.
- The engraving is on thin paper of regular quality.
- The engraving has suffered from humidity, so the paper has small humidity stains and rust spots, all of which are more pronounced as we approach the edges.
- The engraving is dirty, with small tears, and the tips are slightly deteriorated with slight bending.
- If a light washing and bleaching were applied, the result would be very good.
