- Its author is the 17th century Italian painter, poet and engraver Salvator Rosa (1615-1673). He worked in Naples, where he came from. He is known as rebellious and extravagant. His most popular and influential series is the Figurines.
- Intaglio etching on copper plate, printed on good quality paper, in single-colour black tone, very good ink and very good printing.
