Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 6 on Ethnography, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Sciences and Arts, produced by Federico Gillman, and compiled in accordance with the Iconographic Encyclopaedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- The engraving depicts a large warship, various figures from different tribes, other vessels, tools and utensils.
- The upper margin bears the title “ETHNOGRAPHY”, and the upper right-hand corner is printed with “Plate 6”, identifying it as Engraving number 6 in a series on ethnography.
