Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 13 of Ethnography, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed in accordance with the Iconographic Encyclopedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- Dresses, shoes, smoking objects such as pipes, spears, daggers, kitchen utensils, etc. appear in the engraving. From different tribes, such as the Haidas (Colushos), the Dacotas, Mandanos, Incalitos, Malaimiutos, etc.
- In the upper margin it has the title “ETHNOGRAPHY”, and in the upper right corner it has “Lam. 13” printed, which identifies it as Engraving number 13 in a series on ethnography.
- In the lower margin the identifications of the different utensils and paintings, writings, etc. are located.
- Intaglio etching on steel, although another different technique could also have been used.
- Made in monochrome black, very good ink, centered with acceptable margins and with good printing.
- That the Engraving has some Distinctive, Brand or Contrast is of great importance to be able to identify data such as its engraver, the artist, the place where it was printed and other details.

Conservation and Damage:
- Good general condition.
- The Engraving has a medium thickness and regular quality paper.
- The paper is somewhat dirty, with barely any rust stains.
- The Engraving has small tears and folds on the edges and tips.
- If cleaning is applied, the result could be very acceptable.

Comments:
- Measurements are approximate.
- Ideal engraving as a decorative element.
- The color tones in the photos are not the same as the real color tones.
- The Engraving for sale is the one that corresponds to the photos. The description is not a detailed exposition of it.
