Description:
- Engraving corresponding to Plate 32 of Ethnography, belonging to the Popular Illustrated Encyclopedia of Sciences and Arts, made by Federico Gillman, and formed in accordance with the Iconographic Encyclopedia and the Conversations Lexicon of Germany.
- Several groups appear in the engraving, the Kirgises, who refer to certain heads of nomadic Turkic clans in the steppes of Central Asia; The Kalmyks, an ethnic group of Mongolian origin that lives mainly in Kalmykia (Russia), Khan of Khiva, was the oldest of the three Uzbek khanates that existed, south of the old delta on the Aral Sea; Mordwini women belong to an indigenous Finno-Ugric people who live mainly in the Republic of Mordovia, the Volga region in Russia, among others.
